Work by David Vander Woude |
This was created for a contest at www.3dluvr.com. The topic of the contest was "Dream House." We were to make a house with no limitations really but to be livable. So the "house" is the tent on the hill, and the little hut you see on the tracks is just the entry way that brings you there. I would have liked to make the stream and bridge both a bit more realistic, but I was strapped for time due to beginning late in the contest. Some clouds and maybe a sun would have been nice too. |
This is a semi-low poly "Ssslik" that I have been modelling off and on for a while now. It is entirely based on the concept art by Douglas Shuler for the upcoming MMORPG "Horizons: Empires of Istaria." |
All 3D work was created with 3D Studio Max R3.1 |
Another entry in a 3DLuvr.com contest. I was trying to give the chair a vivid laquered look, but I think I just ended up making it look messy. I'm going to retexture and redo all the lighting in this one I think. I'll upload it when completed. |
The Ssslik model with a texture smoothing modifier applied. |
Due to limited space on this homestead account I cant put all my movies up. If you want to see the other particle effects clips just email me and I'll send them to you. |
Modeled for a contest at planetquake.com. Unfortunatly, although I sent it in, it was never recieved due to some email problems they were experiencing. =(
If anyone is wondering the clouds were made using Pyrocluster from Cebas |
